Here’s our neck of the woods like you’ve never seen it. This is a 3D model of Rio Dell, Scotia and the Eel River, with both green bridges, the mill town, the river bars and the hills all around. Sit back and take the ride.
The ground and the trees are the real thing, measured from the air with laser scanning (lidar). Heights are exaggerated 1.5 times so the hills and redwoods stand out; the bridges are modelled at true scale.
