| When we moved to Rio Dell and asked
local residents where the best place to eat is, the unanimous
recommendation was DJ's Burger Bar. They have always been known for
their terrific burgers, chicken and ice cream treats. They are now
serving breakfast on Thurs., Fri., and Sat. The place is reminiscent
of a 50's burger joint and even offers a car show once a week during the
summer months. Enjoy the friendly, comfortable atmosphere and if the
weather allows you can watch the world go by on their outside deck. Be sure and stop by during the month of October and the kids can try to guess how many candies are in the pumpkin. Winner to be announced at their Halloween Carnival on October 31st between 4-6pm. In the mood for Mexican food? Rio Dell has a new family restaurant that offers a wide selection of delicious ethnic dishes. Check out El Real Taco on Wildwood Ave. near Eagle Prairie Bridge. They are reasonably priced and the reviews from people are glowing. A restaurant is a difficult business to get off the ground and we wish the family the best of luck. Show your support of a local family businesses and get a good meal to boot! Another favorite of the Rio Dell residents is the Hwy 101 Cafe', located next to Mingo's near M&M Auto. They have recently expanded their restaurant as well as their menu and include everything from delicious breakfasts to Prime Rib. Judging by the full parking lot they are a favorite place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that has made them a favorite place to go for many. Our local grocer's also offer a deli counter with many choices for a quick bite. C.C. Market and Deli is well known for their catering (as you can see in the picture below). E&J Liquor is a family run business that has expanded their ready-to-eat menu. |
